A Note or two….
Getting married is often a wonderfully exciting time from the moment of the proposal to right down to the ceremony. It is often a time of highs and lows, anxiety and stress all within moments!
As marriage officiants, we have seen it all and we understand how this process can make you feel. We will simply walk you through the process, keep things nice and slow during the ceremony and take you through everything a ceremony has. Do we want you to memorize your ceremony? Absolutely not.
This is real life, this is love – this is you as a couple taking that next step-in your journey. So take that moment to enjoy, to savor and to have fun. Look at your partner and smile or cry or both during the ceremony. We will get you through it. Just know that we always wish the best for you, want the best for you and we will help you the best way we can.
We will take you through the rehearsal (from where to stand and walk to how to face each other). We will remind you to take a deep breath and give you a moment or two if you need it. Most weddings are a “repeat after me” or if you are really someone who can’t speak in public a whole lot, we have selections that all you have to do is say “I do” or “I will”
